Pressieport for Christmas Presents

I’ve started to get a few Christmas pressies in and I always buy them early online because of greater choice and cheaper prices. Yesterday evening about 4ish I used PressiePort to buy a couple of bits and they were delivered here by 1pm today. Thats from Dublin to Leitrim in less than 24 hours, probably the fastest I’ve ever got anything and I’ve bought a lot online! All in one piece too. Try them for your Christmas pressies!

Obama Too Soon?

I’ve tried to resist getting too interested in the ‘Election’ – I had better things to do instead of staying up all night to watch another country’s election (like sleeping) and its been going on so long now you just get sick of it. The shed load of money they all spent is outrageous too, but you can’t help but succomb to the sense of history. Blog 1 Year Old!

Today, the Reverb Studios Blog is exactly one year old (heres my first post!) and its been a great year business wise for me. Whether the blog is responsible in some way or not I’m not sure but Blogging has been a great excercise for me in a lot of ways and its definetly brought more visitors to my site and increased my profile on the net. As of now, I’ve posted about 160 Articles in 13 different Categories and received about 180 comments from various visitors. I regularly get between 50 to 100 unique visits a day compared to about 5 to 20 this time last year!

Shazam for iPhone Review – Name That Tune!

Heres one of the coolest applications for the iphone yet! Its called Shazam and once downloaded and installed on your iphone you can hold your phone up to the speaker on your Hi-Fi, TV, Radio or whatever plays music (not your own voice, good as mine is!) and in a few seconds it will tell you the name of the Song, Artist & Album and give you links to purchase on iTunes, links to Youtube videos and links to share the song with your friends! Don’t know how the hell it works but its awesome!

Excellent & FREE WordPress Plugins

WordPress CMS is fantastic as we all know but possibly the best thing about it is its extensibility through the use of plugins. You can download or buy a plugin to do almost anytyhing you can imagine, from showing slideshows to managing full featured newsletter functionality. Heres a few of my favorite non-default plugins.
