Received the following photo from a friend of mine of a view from the top of Croagh Patrick, Mayo last Sunday at the annual Pilgrimage. Awesome or what!? Looks like you could almost touch the clouds and is that the curvature of the earth I see!?

Ah, that brings back the memories. My sister has a photo on her mantlepiece of me in almost that exact same position, taken when we climbed it 5 years ago. We were dead luck with the day too – hardly a cloud in the sky. And it’s a view you just can’t beat on such a day.
