Been waiting ages to go get this done and it turned out to be worth the money and trip to Dublin from Leitrim! First proper look at the baby complete with smiles, waves & yawns in 2D, 3D and 4D!
Here’s some of the better poses (the first one is probably our favorite with the baby’s arms under it’s head!):
I must also mention the great hospitality and professional service of the staff at the scan center Ultrasound Dimensions in Blackrock who couldn’t have been nicer. The freshly baked cookies topped it off nicely, sorry for eating so many!
And heres a short video clip!
We just launched our client site http://www.PregnancyUltrasound.ie and there is video on the site to show you the 3D/4D procedure here http://www.pregnancyultrasound.ie/3d_4d_scan.html. Cheers and congrats š Alan

Thanx.
Not sure how they generate a 3D image from traditional 2D ultrasound but its all to do with sound! 4D just means video/movement.

Cool pics, congrats. How do they manage 4D ? Just has me a little confused.

Mammy in training here!!i just want to tell you Leon that you are my rock and i could’nt cope without you. After five years of heartache and disappointments we never thought we’d get to this point. Feeling bubba move and seeing him/her on the screen has made everything worthwhile. I love you lots but you already know that but i just wanted to let everyone else know too!!

Those are really bringing the images to a new level.
More than a grainy ultrasound, you can see what the wee one actually looks like.
They still kind of freak me out a bit though…
